Nevada Freeride is a group of dedicated skiers and snowboarders attending The University of Nevada, Reno. We love the mountains and all that the Tahoe Region has to offer. Whether it’s sliding rails, dropping cliffs, or just ripping groomers, we love to be a part of the ski and snowboard community here at UNR.
We are a subdivision of the Winter Sports Club, that focuses on making the mountain a playground. Hucking cliffs and finding technical lines on the mountain is our specialty. In order to test ourselves, we primarily ski and ride at Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows. We also have many members venturing into the backcountry. The in-bounds terrain allows us to push ourselves while the backcountry terrain allows us to scope new lines and explore new zones.
